connectionstrings.com

I found this site for finding out connection strings. Quite helpful when you need something trivial like this. Now why did I not think of this before? :)

Also, if you work on the Microsoft platforms (like yours truly) then you can get a similar function (though not as many choices) by creating a .udl file. So, right click and select new text file, rename that to whatever-you-want.udl and double click on it. Follow the prompts till you are finished. Then right click on the file again and open with Notepad (or your favourite text editor) and voila - you have the connection string.
